"Welcome back."
"They sure were gone quite long around the corner. Let's now check out their status."
"Chemistry seems quite smooth for most of them..."
"And History corner had once again showed that the Humanities department making the course is screwed up."
"Physics sure was a killer. Look at how many of them struggling at the turns!"
"Wait! Woah look at the racers at the Maths corner. The cars, they all look so... damaged."
"And we wonder why..."
"Those racers sure were not careful down there. May seem like an easy and straight road, yet many obstacles to conquer!"
"That sure affected some of them."
"Up next! ANOTHER part of Geography lane, this time with more action."
"Let's hope they do remember their VOLCANOES and WEATHERS."
"What is that? OH NO! Another part of Maths road. Tricky lane. Wish them all good luck this time."
"Yea no more mistakes please."
"This is John and here's Mark and please do stay tuned for more updates."

Nothing to blog about.
Everything that has to be said had been portrayed out above.
Day two since term started, but to me it was just like a long weekend, with me going to school on 4 out of 5 days in the "hols".
Hahahahaha. Maths sure was the deadly blow.
Very careless. Ouch.
Most likely end up as A2 if I don't do well for paper 2.
Good luck to all anyway!
Peace Out.

Another titleless post.
Its like... life without direction.
The past 2 days of this "holiday" hadn't been very fruitful, or at least, I didn't really make full use of it.
Prelim 3 is still ongoing, with many many tougher papers behind.
For all those stressed out people out there, worrying about their exams, let's look at it in another way.
Think of yourself, as a person who possessed a very special talent or power.
Think of the subjects you take as the troubles that citizens of the world are facing.
Now, ask yourself. What are YOU going to do? Are you going to just let them suffer? Or are your going to use that very special ability of yours to help them?
For those who wanted to let them suffer, go see a doctor. You know you need it.
For those right minded people out there, I supposed you would have chosen to help them.
Think of the citizens of the world now as your marks. Everyone of them are important to you.
You can't afford to lose any.
Think of the troubles the citizens face as distractions and other reasons that will affect your results. Are you going to let these "troubles" cause harm to your "citizens"?
With the help of that special power that you have, a gift from the Gods, your brain, you will now save the world.
Use it wisely.
I know I am really not in the position to say such things, but this is something I realized.
I admit my results are not at all good but I am still trying my best to save my "citizens".
Something we should all think about. Just don't get more stressed out after reading this post.
-----------------------------
I have weird friends.
Today, we had a talk about girls.
Nothing sick.
It began like this:
"Do you know girls are like Pokemons?"
And I was like:
"Why?"
It turned out to be something I regretted asking.
His reply was:
"Girls are everywhere, and we can 'catch' them. Those with trainers(Boyfriends lah), we can't 'catch'."
Weird...

"Welcome back. This is John, your irritating commentator!"
"And this is Mark, the not so irritating one."
"Looks like all the racers made pass Geography lane!"
"Yea and no one crashed, except one. Number 7, Ernest Tan."
"He hit a hard one, heads on with the wall. It was like BAM and his car bursted into flames!"
"He was lucky to make it out alive. One down!"
"And the remaining racers made it safely to the checkpoint. Many of them were damaged a pheeew the Pit road is just there."
"Hope the drivers get the rest and the repairs they need."
"Once again, we're out and we will update you the moment something happens!"

Homecoming day today.
One word to describe.
Horrible.
Look at the fair, so pathetic.
Its not as happening as previous years and its not like it was any better last time either.
Had troubles spending the twenty bucks worth of coupons that we were forced to buy.
Seriously it was a failure.
First hour of the fair and I did nothing but wander around, not knowing what to do.
Guess where all the coupons went in the end?
Donuts.
I dunno why but its like almost everyone in our class bought donuts even though they were overpriced. Even YaoCheng bought some.
---------------------------
How bad can the day get?
That was what I thought...
For those who saw me today, I was wearing something very casual.
T-shirt, some pants, flip-flops...
There was some sort of bright light and hey! I was at Orchard Road, with my very casual look and the box of donuts, together with my friends.
Didn't expect myself to be there, but that's not the point.
Went to watch a movie at Shaw, G-Force.
I didn't know what the movie was about, thought it was some sci-fi movie with very advanced weapons of mass destruction and a evil prof trying to rule the world.
Turned out that I was right... just that the movie included talking stuffed animals.
That's so not my type.
For those planning to watch it, DON'T.
Lousy storyline, kiddy cartoon for kids.
Not only that, I was walking about in Ion in my stupid slippers.
Felt very embarrassed.
Lugging along the box of donuts I bought, together with my noisy pair of slippers, I became the centre of attraction.
Many people were looking at me.
I just wanna dig a hole through the ground and find a way out.
The things there, one word.
Yea you guessed it... EXPENSIVE.
Why would I even think of stepping in a Luis Vuitton store?
How about Zara?
Maybe Armani... but NOT LV.
Not that I can ever afford anything.
I was quite surprised by the horde of shopping zombies in the LV store.
How could they ever do such a thing?
Splurging on something that just says LV.
Ouch.

"Oh let's take a look at the racers!"
"They are going fast!"
"I can smell burnt rubber from where I'm sitting!"
"Til this stage I see NO significant differences in all the racers, except for one or two lagging behind."
*ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!*
"Yea they are going fast. So far Lap 2 and no casualties."
"You were hoping for casualties? You are evil my friend..."
"No I wasn't. Anyway did you see what happened?"
"What?!"
"When all the racers vroomed down the Social Studies corners, most of them almost crashed!"
"Yea and some slowed down."
"I do hope they are okay."
*VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!*
"Oh yes and all of them made it through Lap 2!"
"Going down the Geography lane soon, let's hope they will be alright. Those dangerous turns, they will crash if they are not careful..."
"After the Geography lane they will pass by the Pit for repairs! Looks like some of them really needs it."
"This is John here and we will update you the moment they pass the checkpoint. Stay tuned for more."

The prelims are officially starting tomorrow!
Look at the crowd, all eagerly waiting to see what is going to happen.
Now let us get a close up interview with one of the racers, Edward!
"So what do you think about the race starting tomorrow?"
"Nothing much, just like a normal race, its not like there's much on stake."
"What do you mean by that? You don't mind losing?!"
"Of course I do. It's just that I haven't been practicing and I seriously doubt my ability to win."
"Oh Okay, then what are your plans?"
"Since this is just a small race, I will just do my best and see where i go. When the BIG race comes at the end of this year, it will be time for me to demonstrate my true abilities!"
"What do you think of your opponents?"
"Oh they are strong! They come from different parts of the classrooms and I was shocked by how good they were."
"Okay then, good luck Edward! Hope to see you finish the race and doing the best you can!"
"Certainly."
---------------------------
Okay time to get serious.
Looking back at the time I had wasted over the past, I actually felt quite guilty.
How I wish my day would prolong to 48 hours.
This way I can take this extra 24 hours to catch up with those things that I've been missing.
Now that I am doing last minute work, I can't seem to register anything into my head.
Good luck to me then, for the time I wasted will never come back again...

Its the end of a wonderful week again.
Not quite, tomorrow got CHINESE.
Many things to do/had happened over this looooong week.
1. English Oral
2. Many many science periods
3. Shyt loads of homework
4. Shyt loads of tests
5. Another human tower session
6. Multiple attempts to increase my vocab bank
7. Oh God dammit I lost my stupid pencil case again
So lets talk about things one by one.
1. I talked about Oral earlier this week, so thats done.
2. Ms Thian is not in town this week. So ALL the science teacher wanted to take a share of her lessons each. Even the maths teacher took a period. Long and tiring week. Sian.
3. Homework came. Not a lot. Just exaggerating. 5 maths paper 1 physics 1 chem 1 english essay. Should be able to complete them. No need to hand in though. Being the hardworking and eager learner I am, I will complete it for my own well-being.
4. Exaggerating again. Not so many. 1 physics 1 chem 2 maths and I think thats all.
5. ANOTHER human tower session. This time with more 'bangs!' and 'splits!'. It was the same thing as the last time, just that ZiXuan and Jackson both got a split in their pants. That was sure embarrassing on their way home! Will post pictures if I get my hands on them.
6. Remember my post about my English being super lousy? I guess it was really not up to standard. So I decided to do what MOST China scholars learning English will do... to read the dictionary. I don't really read it but I do search for words that I come across and random Word-of-the-Day thing (iPod lah). It was actually quite effective. I've learned so many usable words this week with various meanings. Lallygag, lagniappe, saturnine, austere and many many more. Those are unusual words that we can actually use. Go search it up on the dictionary. Its actually quite interesting.
I tried using 'lallygag' in a sentence, wonder if its being used correctly: "I was lallygagging at Junction 8 today and I saw a couple lallygagging at a quiet corner."
7. Its the 2nd time this year I had misplaced my pencil case. The first one was really... heart-aching. It was a QuikSilver pencil case. Black with red design. Damn sexy. Given to me by my classmates for my 16th birthday... Got sentimental value. Not only that but the damn bloody expensive stuff like my calculator and my electronic dictionary was in it too. I will never forget that day... 31/3/2009 at Singapore Expo. The 2nd one was today. I thought I had learned from my mistakes. I used a cheapo and dumb Bobdog pencil case, just big enough to put all my stuff in, including my new calculator and I tried my best to not lose it, BUT I DID. I am a loser, ain't I? Gonna remember this day too, 28/8/2009.
---------------------------------
Teacher's Day right about the corner, I am gonna take some time to thank all my teachers for being such wonderful people. They have done so much for me, and thanks to all of them I am gonna leave this school as a much better person, not only academically, but also as a gentleman.
(Sounds too correct to be me, but I really mean it.)

Some parenting crisis here...

Its the first time I can't think of what to put for my title of a post.
So lets just leave it as "untitled" for the moment.
English oral today.
Did worst than I thought I would.
Its like... I am always able to express myself freely in front of teachers and friends.
Never did I expect myself to be so NERVOUS and UPTIGHT in front of the examiners.
Whatever the case is, its over.
For those kids out there still pondering over their oral like me, stop.
If you think you did badly, just go on with life and work harder for other components.
Look at JianShen. He screwed his Malay oral. He moved on. (LOL at him)
Time to go back to things we should really be doing.
Something related to written work, not just talking crap.
---------------------------
Moving on from oral,
its PRELIM 3 SOON!
There are so many things to be done.
Of all the subjects that I take, my languages worries me the most.
My Chinese, as what all of us know, including my parents, is damn screwed up.
Was writing a Zuo Wen today.
My friends who read it all laughed.
My English may seem alright to most of you guys out there, but the truth is its damn screwed too.
Languages are so not my thing.
---------------------------
You know how successful and great businessmen always say that their success just walks up to them like that?
This doesn't mean that we shouldn't work hard.
The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary.
Strive on people.
Stifle the urge to play in your hearts.
Its just another two and a half months to freedom.
So lets just leave it as "untitled" for the moment.
