A walk through life

Tuesday, August 4, 2009
i KNOW that im too young to say that i took a walk through life
BUT im sure i did.
on my way home today, i saw students with books in their hands
rushing through the crowd in bishan mrt station, trying to get into the train eventhough they know they its not quite possible with all the things that they are carrying.
however they still managed to squeeze in eventually.
once they 'secured' a place on the train,
they will take out their books or notes and start reading.

it seems to me that THEY ALL HAVE SOME SORT OF PURPOSE IN LIFE.

here i am still slacking and joking eventhough my exams are getting closer and i know that.
all i did everyday was to live the day and wait for the next
i have nothing planned for my future
now that i start to think about it
i feel that im a failure in life.

even rong xuan, pest of our class, who does nothing but irritate others has targets.
he's aiming for cadet pilot program and local study awards.
we all know that it may be quite impossible to accomplish that
but somehow i have a feeling that he will achieve what he want.

looking at all the effort my friends are putting in
i felt quite ashamed of myself.

who can i blame?
my parents? my teachers?
or is it just me?

the past few years of my life had been wasted
and we all know that we cant recover lost time.
all i can do now is to cry at a corner on why i didnt work hard enough and that my life was wasted
OR
i could just get over with it and start thinking on what i really want in life and work towards it.

Edison had always asked me this question: "What do YOU want in life?"
I will always reply in a joking manner "Three girls and a soccer team"
even now i do not know what i really want in life
but ask me in a few months time
i'll give u an answer.

thinking back at what Kelvin said to me the other day
"did u had an epiphany?"

"yes. yes i did."
